A woman died as a result of injuries caused by an exact, (metal instrument used to cut cardboard) in the middle of a fight she had with her partner, according to police versions.
This event occurred on Thursday afternoon in a house located on Calle 6 with transversal 1, Terrazas de San José, Araure, Portuguesa.
The event was reported by a neighbor of the couple to the Araure Police Coordination Center whose troops were mobilized to the site.
The officials entered the house and observed the couple inside a room. Both were wounded by the knife.
The commission transferred them to the Jesús María Casal Ramos hospital where the woman died and was identified as Mariel Dayana Aguilar (32). While the man, Juan Carlos Camejo Rojas (36), was admitted to the operating room to be operated on.
Police officials guard the hospital headquarters to wait for Camejo’s recovery and start his criminal prosecution.
