Víctor José Ascanio González (23), was killed with a shot to the chest, which he received when he was inside a house located in Caño Amarillo, Caracas.
The first versions indicate that the events occurred last Wednesday when David Sojo allegedly entered the house where Ascanio González lived with his partner Yubrasca Vargas. Sojo shot Ascanio in the chest and fled.
The injured man was transferred to the José María Vargas hospital where he was admitted without vital signs, according to relatives.
Apparently, what underlies this murder is a passionate mess fueled by Sojo, who in the past was Yubrasca’s partner and presumably did not accept that she began a new relationship with Ascanio.
The Cicpc opened an investigation to find the capture of the alleged murderer.

In another proceeding, Cicpc agents arrested three subjects as allegedly responsible for the murder of Williams Ramón Ferrer Muñoz (45), which occurred in the Libertador, Anaco, Anzoátegui sector. Ferrer was found there with multiple blows, for which he was taken to the Jesús Ángulo Rivas Hospital, where he died.
For this fact, Fernando José Guevara Jaramillo (28), Axel José Guevara Jaramillo (30) and Gabriel José Villarroel Hernández (19) were arrested, who on the day of the crime, beat Ferrer to strip him of his property, the Cicpc said.
Another accused of murder is Rony Bray Toloza Yáñez (37), who was captured for his alleged involvement in the murder of Robinson Sánchez (47), which occurred with a piece of wood in Pueblo Nuevo, San Cristóbal (Táchira) on January 14. The two men were drinking alcoholic beverages, according to the Cicpc version.
