The Specialized Section on Homicide and Femicide of the Colón and Guna Yala Regional Prosecutor’s Office managed to get the Guarantee Court to apply the precautionary measure of provisional detention to a 19-year-old citizen, for the crime of attempted homicide.
In the hearing of multiple requests, it corresponded to the public prosecutor David Medina to request to the judge of guarantees, David Palacios, the legalization of apprehension and formulation of imputation against this man, which were admitted.
The event occurred on March 5, 2023, in the La Feria sector, Cristóbal Este corregimiento, when the accused participated in the attempted murder with a firearm of the victim, who was able to save his life by taking refuge in a residence.
The defendant was apprehended in flagrante delicto by units of the National Police, on March 5, 2023.
