A passenger who came from San Cristóbal (Táchira) was detained at the Peracal checkpoint where he expelled 94 cocaine cods, according to military reports.
The man is registered as Juan Francisco Salcedo Venere, who was going to Caracas to deliver the drug portion. But, at the aforementioned checkpoint, the members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) checked the vehicle and arrested Salcedo after noticing his nervousness.
The man was taken to the infirmary where he expelled the finger cots that added up to a kilo with 120 grams.
Another anti-drug procedure was carried out by the GNB in the Concepción sector, Iribarren municipality (Barquisimeto), Lara state, in response to investigation order No. MP 235787-2022.
At that site, they seized 54 mini-packages of cocaine and retention of two telephone equipment, from two members of the El Viajero organization, identified as: Hosmer William Mogollón and Keimberlind Yubrasky Silva Valera.
The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry for criminal prosecution.
