Until now, the exact circumstances under which the accident occurred are unknown.

Agents from the General Directorate of Traffic and Land Transportation Security (Digesett) appeared at the scene and kept traffic under control, because one of the directions of the road was closed to facilitate the corresponding work.

Background

Ecological Avenue is a frequent scene of fatal traffic accidents, a situation that has been reported repeatedly by residents of surrounding sectors.

They point to the lack of traffic lights at some intersections as part of the problem, aggravated by the high speed at which drivers usually travel on this important road.
