Man convicted of raping teenage daughter and infecting her with HIV

The Collegiate Court of Monte Plata issued 20 years in prison against a man who sexually raped his daughter Teen in the Yamasá municipality and infected her with HIV.

The accusation presented by the prosecutor Zaida Rogelia Vásquez Sandoval was accepted by the court, presided over by Judge Hilda Nieves Sánchez Luna, establishing that the defendant committed rape against his minor daughter.

Both names have been withheld to protect the identity and privacy of the victim.

The Public Ministry established in the accusatory file that the man sexually violated his daughter since she was 13 years of age and until he was 16.
