A tragedy shocked the community from La Rosa, in Los Samanes, Ranchito municipal district, this Saturday in the La Vega Province, in the early morning hours, when a man identified as Erasmo Restituyo, 33 years old, took the life of his partner, Yohanna Castillo Pérez de 30 years, and then commit suicide.
Relatives of the victim indicated that the incident was discovered around 7:30 in the morning, when relatives They heard the screams of aggressor asking for help to open the door.
According to Ernesto Pérez, a relative of the deceased, upon entering the house they found a scene heartbreaking: “Everyone is destroyedWe didn’t expect something like this. When they opened the door they found him with a tail, the worst had already happened. The Police took the weapon, but we do not understand why this happened. It seems that he was jealous and had drunk (alcoholic) drinks,” he said.
Luis Miguel Pérez, Yohanna’s cousin, said that it was alerted for one neighbor about the screams in the house. Upon arrival, he met the aggressor above the victimbut it was too late: “We were celebrating her birthday last night, all sharing. This is something that no one can believe.”
The couple had been together for more than 15 years. marriage and had two children, one of them barely five years old and another 11 years old, who are now under the care of their relatives.
