Cicpc officials arrested Hector Vasquez (18), accused of murdering his parents and a nephew, an event that occurred last Wednesday.
In this case, the deceased are identified as Alberto Vásquez Perdomo (62), Yaneth Josefina Godoy (51) and Alberto Alejandro Salcedo Vásquez (8), who resided in the Las Veritas sector, Gibraltar parish, Sucre municipality (Bobures) Zulia state.
The suspect originally gave a false version of events to police authorities, telling them that last Wednesday morning he saw a hooded man leave his house, whom he identified as the alleged perpetrator of the triple murder.
But when the agents reconstructed the events, they determined that it was Hector who killed his parents and nephew; a crime he committed with his friend Reyber González (21), also arrested.
Hector planned the triple homicide because he was looking for money and became enraged when he didn’t get any. He had stolen $3,000 from his parents months ago.
On Wednesday morning, they shot the father, mother and the 8-year-old boy. But when they noticed that the latter was not dying, they decided to strangle him, according to the Cicpc version posted on its Instagram account.
For a pendrive
In another incident, Juan Carlos Jiménez Jiménez (47) was killed by mechanical asphyxiation applied by a friend who claimed a pendive from him.
This incident occurred on Tuesday morning in Cerros de Marín, a neighborhood in the east of Maracaibo (Zulia). Jiménez and his friend nicknamed El Mañas were drinking alcohol all weekend and continued until dawn on Tuesday.
An argument arose between the friends over a flash drive that El Mañas had lent to Jiménez. In the middle of the fight, El Mañas grabbed Jiménez by the neck and suffocated him.
Neighbors transferred Jiménez to a CDI where he died.
