A subject who had a warrant for failure to provide family assistance managed to escape from the Santa Rosa Hospitalin Piura, after being admitted to this hospital after suffering a traffic accident. A female officer was guarding him, however, he managed to escape in the early hours of the morning.
The detainee Frank Celestino Pérez, 29 years old, has a complaint for the crime of Failure to Provide Family Assistance, a measure ordered by the Preparatory Investigation Court of Ancash, but he suffered a traffic accident and was evacuated to the Santa Rosa hospital on May 29 of this year. He had been detained since that date.
According to police sources, Celestino Pérez remained hospitalized in bed seven in the surgery area and was guarded by the second-class non-commissioned officer PNP DCCR, whose schedule was from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day. However, the subject would have taken advantage of a small oversight by the agent and around 2:30 a.m. last Monday managed to escape from the hospital without giving time to be recaptured. To date, the whereabouts of the escaped subject are unknown.

Given what had happened, the third-class officer reported the incident to the Criminal Investigation Division (Divincri) in Piura, where she detailed what had happened to her detainee.
For this purpose, DCCR was detained for the alleged crime against public administration – aiding the escape of the detainee Frank Celestino Pérez.
Hours later, the representative of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Gilma Cabrera, provincial prosecutor of the First Provincial Corporate Prosecutor’s Office of Piura, ordered the immediate release of the policewoman.
However, they indicated that investigations are continuing and the agent is being summoned for the escape of a wanted person.
The subject is being intensively sought since the arrest warrant against the father of the family is still in force to date.
