San Pedro de Macorís.- A man accused of killing his ex-partner in the Quisqueya municipality, San Pedro de Macorís, was arrested by the Police during an operation carried out over the weekend.
The detainee is Melvin Yin Jean Juanknown as Gago35 years old, resident in Quisqueya. The arrest occurred pursuant to arrest warrant No. 00845-2022.

The subject is accused of the death of Maria del Carmen Yanluisknown as Fani, 23 years old, who died due to “multiple stab wounds«, as certified by the medical examiner. The victim resided in the same community.
The tragic event occurred on the morning of Wednesday, December 25, 2024, the day of Christmaswhile the victim was in a local beauty salon.
The accused will be brought to justice to answer before a judge.
