The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Freddy Mamani, acknowledged that the Government is already evaluating “how to make the requirement of the vaccination card more flexible,” a provision by which several sectors related to the MAS are mobilized and even announced a national blockade.
“We are seeing how we are going to make the requirement of the vaccination card more flexible so that problems are not generated,” said Mamani, in statements collected by the Deputies website.
The head of Deputies maintained that the purpose of the decrees rejected by anti-vaccine groups is not to force vaccination, but to appeal to the “will” so that they access the doses.

“At no time have we indicated that the vaccine has to be by force, rather it has to be the will of each one,” said the authority.
Mamani added that the pandemic and its consequences are not a joke and appealed to the conscience of the people to expand vaccination against the coronavirus.
“Go to the conscience of the people, at this moment what we need is to take care of ourselves among all Bolivians (…). It is not a joke, because there are infected sisters and brothers who are losing their lives. We must be responsible, we go to the points vaccination, “asked Mamani.
