The Malian mother and her non-puplets, Five girls and four boys, born in Morocco in May 2021, arrived in Bamako on Tuesday in good health, the Health Minister told AFP.
“Joy and satisfaction to see them in good health. The babies and the mother are fine and arrived safely in Mali. The State fulfilled its commitments, thank God,” said the Minister Dieminatou Sangaré in a message transmitted to AFP.
Halima Cissé, a young woman from Timbuktu (north), gave birth in May 2021 to five girls and four boys after being transferred at the end of March 2021 from Bamako to Casablanca, so that she could receive care adapted to the risks of this multiple pregnancy.
The specialists they cared about their health and the chances of survival of the fetuses during the pregnancy, but all were ultimately born in good health.
“It is a first, a pride for all. Gratitude to the Moroccan team”, stressed Sangaré.
