The Ministry of Education (Meduca), launched the Digital Library at the National Institute (IN), which will allow information to be obtained in more than 1,039 texts on physics, chemistry, biology and physics and other basic subjects in the training of students.
The Digital Library will allow IN students and teachers, and the rest of the various educational centers in the country, to have instant access to a wide intellectual resource and not limited to modern and traditional texts, 700 biographies, literature and literary studies, 678 children’s/youth books, fiction and true stories, 533 art texts and 261 fiction and related topics.
The Academic Vice Minister of Education, Zonia Gallardo de Smith, highlighted that these technological innovations allow the transmission of knowledge, access to information and facilitate research, in turn, it represents savings for parents in the acquisition of texts or didactic resources.
The Digital Library is within the Ester platform, registered students and teachers will be able to access through their email and enter the digital notebook and download the content to investigate. You can find modern and traditional books.
This action will benefit more than 2,395 students of the National Institute, in addition to another 800,000 who are studying in the different educational centers of the country, and approximately 46,000 educators who work in the Panamanian educational system.
