Major Baseball: Los Santos is the first classified to the semifinals

In a great game, the ninth of the Saints beat Chiriquí 1 run to 0 in 10 innings to thus win the series 4 games to 1 and advance to the semifinals of the Major Baseball Championship.

It was a pitching duel between Randall Delgado for Los Santos and Steven Fuentes for Chiriquí, Delgado pitched 8 solid innings without allowing runs and only 2 hits, while Fuentes pitched 7.1 with 4 hits allowed and no runs allowed, both went without a decision.

Joaquín Cedeño scored the winning run in the top of the tenth inning off a wild pitch by Angel Cuan who ultimately was the losing pitcher, while Los Santos third pitcher Samuel Ruíz got the win.

Now the ninth Santeña will face the winner of the series between Panama Metro and Coclé in the semifinals.
