After completing the work, the deputy director of operations of IDAAN, Félix Robertson, indicated that little by little the water will begin to reach the different sectors of the capital “The established schedules were complied with and we thank the population for their understanding, we started with the start-up of the plant so that water progressively reaches both the low points and the high points, valve adjustments will be made to bring water to the entire community”, he indicated.
From the early hours of the morning, tanker cars from the institution supplied drinking water to sensitive places such as the hospitals in the capital city and San Miguelito.
“This is one of the first phases of both preventive and predictive scheduled maintenance that is carried out on the water treatment plant in order to keep it working as well as possible for the benefit of the population,” Robertson concluded.
