The highways in São Paulo register intense traffic, but within normal limits, this Sunday afternoon (24), on the return from Tiradentes’ extended holiday. The Rodovia dos Bandeirantes, which connects the capital to cities in the interior, has traffic prohibited for trucks from Km 48 to Km 23. The orientation is that these vehicles use the Anhanguera Highway.

In the balance sheet released around 4 pm, Anhanguera had congestion in Jundiaí, on the express lane, towards the capital. There are more than 10 kilometers of queues, from Km 65 to Km 54, because of the intense traffic. The information comes from the CCR Autoban concessionaire, which manages the highways that make up the Bandeirantes-Anhanguera System.

Also on the Jundiaí stretch, Bandeirantes has lines of cars from Km 58 to Km 54, in the interior-capital direction. In Campinas, congestion is from Km 85 to Km 81. There is no record of accidents.

The Anchieta-Imigrantes System, which connects the capital to the coast, has congested traffic on the Cônego Doménio Rangoni Highway, from Km 263 to Km 255. On the other highways in the system, traffic flows well, according to the Ecovias concessionaire.

Trucks heading towards São Paulo must access the Via Anchieta mountain range. The highways of the Anchieta-Imigrantes System are in Operation Uphill, with two lanes going down and eight going up to the capital. “The descent is made through the south lane of Via Anchieta and the ascent takes place through the north and south lanes of the Imigrantes highway and the north lane of Via Anchieta”, informs the concessionaire.
