For Premium gasoline, the Treasury established a fiscal stimulus of 83.49%, equivalent to 3.87 pesos per liter. While for diesel, the stimulus will be 89.64% equivalent to 5.41 pesos per liter.
The final price of these products will depend on each fuel distribution company. The Treasury increases the fiscal stimulus when it observes an increase in international gasoline prices, in order to avoid affecting consumers.
But, when the Treasury observes a decrease in gasoline prices, it reduces the stimulus, causing consumers to take a greater part of the IEPS.
