Congressman Edgar Tello (Magisterial Block) announced that from his bench they have been coordinating with other groups regarding the elections for the next Board of Directors of the Parliament and pointed out that they would present a candidate.
The parliamentarian indicated that the Magisterial Bloc will define this Sunday if it presents an applicant. In addition, he welcomed the announcements of Gladys Echaíz and Lady Camones as heads of two lists for the Board of Directors.
“Work is underway to present a candidate and we salute the lists that have been put together within what is a democratic framework. (…) The bench will define it today”, he declared for RPP.

Likewise, Tello Montes revealed that his group has held talks with the Popular Action, Popular Renewal and Peru Libre groups with the purpose of forming a “consensus list”.
“I have been talking and a consensus block is being put together. There is rapprochement with groups such as Popular Action, Popular Renewal, Magisterial Block, Free Peru and with other groups that are coordinating. Today the talks should move forward and we hope that we can close and present that list of consensus“, said.
As it is recalled, last Saturday Popular Renovation announced Echaíz as a candidate to lead one of the lists for the election of the Board of Directors of Parliament. She joins Camones, who will lead the other formula that seeks to direct this state power.
