Seven applicants to the National University of Santa (UNS) in Chimbote, including four minors, were discovered with headphones through which members of a mafia offered to give them the answers to the admission exam that took place on the 11th of September.

According to the aforementioned media, this organization captured young people through social networks, where they assured them that they would easily enter thanks to the mechanism they offer. Also, They boasted of having 20 years of experience to give the answers to the exam.

We are a group of students and professors who help secure your vacancy for the degree you are applying for with a secure method that has been previously tested at other universities. (…) Days before the exam we will meet and there we will show you and explain the operation of our devices”reads a message from the mafia.
For example, to give the answers to the exam for the Faculty of Medicine, they charged applicants interested in hiring their services S/20,000.
According to the aforementioned media, the mafia would operate in Chimbote and other regions offering supposed guaranteed income to several national universities.
