Mafer Turrent, a case of family violence
In September 2023 Turrent decided to separate from his then husband, because he claimed to be a victim of family violence during his relationship. By January 2024, the woman requested protection measures for her and her children, however, in response Edgar “N” got an eagle code to be issued, an order of departure against the mother and did not allow him to have contact with his Children 90 days.
“I love you with all my heart and I miss you too much,” Turrent says.
– The same, mom. I worried when you did not answer, I thought you had loved or something happened to you – one of his daughters replies.
The audio of the call was shared in a video where Turrent makes a public complaint of the violence exercised by his ex -partner, which he published on social networks.
Meanwhile, the ex -husband denounced Turrent for procedural fraud, minor retention, correspondence violation and falseness of statements.
“I ask that in these process the favors do not weigh more than the evidence I have presented,” denounces the woman in the video.
However, Turrent was arrested on January 22 after going to an hearing in the Administrative Court of Mexico City and taken to the Santa Martha Acatitla Women’s Reinsertion Center.
