Maduro: With Carabobo we celebrate the success of Bolivarian geopolitics

By celebrating the 201 years of the Battle of Carabobo “we also commemorate the success of Bolivarian geopolitics” that led the Liberator Simón Bolívar to the definitive victory against the Spanish empire, which gave way to the quest for the Independence of Venezuela, highlighted this Friday the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“By commemorating 201 years since the victory of the Battle of Carabobo, we also commemorate the success of Bolivarian geopolitics that led to the definitive victory of the revolutionary troops against the Spanish empire,” said the President through a message transmitted by Venezolana. of Television during the acts on the occasion of the Battle of Carabobo and Army Day that takes place in the Carabobo Field.

The head of state emphasized: “We assume ourselves to be absolutely militant in the cause of Bolívar, that is why we proudly assume ourselves as Bolivarians of the 21st century because we embrace the geopolitical, human vision of union.”

During his speech, the national president stressed that Bolívar was clear that he had to defeat the Spanish empire in order to achieve peace.

“Bolívar knew that if the geopolitical victory over South America was not consolidated, if the Spanish imperialist army were not expelled, a counteroffensive would come sooner rather than later, making the consolidation of peace unfeasible,” he stressed.

President Maduro explained that “Bolívar from the beginning conceived the strategy of shared independence. Later, with the convening of the Congress of Panama, he conceived the union of what we now know as Latin America».

Bolivarian Army heir to the glories

This Friday also marks Army Day, which is why the Commander-in-Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, recognized the soldiers as the direct heirs to the glories of Carabobo, led by Simon Bolivar.

“I congratulate from the deepest blood, from the roots of the homeland, every soldier of our glorious Bolivarian Army of Venezuela, direct heir to the glories of Carabobo and the armies of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, Antonio José de Sucre and the great heroes who marked the founding of our great homeland”, stated the head of state in his message.

The national president indicated that the glories of Bolívar laid the foundations for the birth of the identity of Venezuelans and Latin Americans.

“The deep base of our roots, of the identity with which we presented ourselves to the world were the great liberating campaigns,” he added.

He stressed that the vision of union and equality of the Liberator was reflected with the victory of Carabobo and the birth of Colombia on the banks of the Orinoco River, as the largest geopolitical project from the cultural, social and military.

“That is the deep base of our roots, it is the identity with which we present ourselves to the world, that comes from the great libertarian campaigns of Simón Bolívar,” he said.

Civil-military union

In his message, the head of state called for the maximum union between soldiers and the people of Venezuela with the aim of building the revolution of the 21st century, heading for a new society that is based “on the principles of Christ, Bolívar and Chávez,” he said. .

“We must build an anti-imperialist Bolivarian Army that, with its historical morality, tells the people the truths, for the construction of equality, independence, and justice and freedom,” he emphasized.

Likewise, he pointed out that “the Army must be united with the people in a perfect fusion, civic-military, in the idea of ​​our supreme commander Hugo Chávez Frías, towards the new socialist society.”

San Juan: peace and prosperity

President Maduro also celebrated the historic cultural date of Saint John’s Day and congratulated the people and all those who bear his name in honor of the saint.

On this day he asked for union, peace and prosperity for Venezuela and remembered the Black First, Pedro Camejo, the sentinel of Bolívar who gave everything on the battlefield 201 years ago in Carabobo.
