Maduro: We need to unite Latin America and the Caribbean to build a bloc of strength

Maduro: In 2024 we have stopped the empire's plan to destroy the Revolution

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that the union of Latin America and the Caribbean is necessary for the construction of a confederation of countries and governments, “as a block of strength” to strengthen the region, as well as the future of its nations.

This was highlighted in a message published on his Telegram account, where he highlighted the need for Latin America and the Caribbean to work together to face the challenges of the 21st century and build a prosperous future for the region.

In his message, which also contains a video, he stated that currently there is a “rearrangement of world forces and that has its effect on the multilateral organization that we have, which is the United Nations (UN),” which accused of experiencing a process of serious exhaustion as a result of the power dispute.

“The Western empires have decided at every turn to use their military power, their military technology to threaten the world, to attack the world and to try to create conflict in general,” the president said in the aforementioned video.

Likewise, he urged us to reflect on the need for this union on the basis of values and understanding, which is crucial today when the country is being attacked by various far-right actors.
