Maduro: We have defeated hatred, coups and fascism

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured this Wednesday that the victory belongs to free Venezuela, “if we have a country at peace, it is because we have defeated hatred, coups and fascism.”

From the Teresa Carreño Theater during his annual message to the Nation, the head of state stated that the country is in tranquility and peace, that the plans to lead us to chaos and crazy ideas were not consolidated.

The National President stated that January 10 was the definitive consolidation of the popular-military-police fusion, having overcome all threats, all psychological warfare and all lies.

“Those who act without reason, the Venezuelan fascists together with the Colombian paramilitarism, are calling for a military invasion (…) They don’t know what they are saying! (…) I join the united clamor and the powerful voice of the entire Venezuelan society that has rejected this call, made by Álvaro Uribe, Iván Duque Leopoldo López and María Corina Machado,” he stated.

Maduro recalled that more than 150 mercenaries of different nationalities are convicted and some have confessed to the terrorist acts that were intended to occur in the country during 2024. “Thanks to the patrolling, prevention and intelligence work of our security forces.”

During his speech, the Dignitary recalled that the first cyber-fascist coup d’état was applied, for the first time, in Venezuela, on July 28, 29 and 30. “All social networks and electronic systems were used.”

In this regard, he recalled the cyberfascist acts that were applied during the #28Jul elections and highlighted the strength of the people, in popular-military-police union by not allowing the establishment of violence in Venezuela.

On the other hand, he pointed out that this is a year marked to continue refining plans, to build the Homeland with our own hands and efforts.

He highlighted that 2025 will be a year signed by peace and unity to continue consolidating the power of Venezuela, hand in hand with the National Government and the people.

“It inaugurates a year that must be marked by encounter, reunion, words, dialogue and above all, coexistence, tolerance and peace. A year signed because we see each other frequently to continue refining common dreams and plans, and continue building with our own hands and our own efforts, our beloved Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” he emphasized.

Calls for invasion

President Maduro made a firm call for the unity of the Venezuelan people and categorically rejected the incitements and statements, by extremist opponents, for a military invasion against the Nation.

“There, those unreasonably deranged men and women of Venezuelan fascism and Colombian paramilitarism who are calling for a military invasion of Venezuela, do not know what they are saying,” he stated.

He specifically referred to figures such as Álvaro Uribe, Iván Duque, Leopoldo López and María Corina Machado, who have urged military intervention in the country.

“The truth is that I join the united clamor, the powerful voice of the entire Venezuelan society that has rejected the call for a military invasion,” he expressed with determination.

The President also highlighted a change in the global context, stating that “the drums of change are sounding in the world and we are marching at a safe pace in this world.”

In this sense, he emphasized that “in this world no one respects cowards, no one respects the faint-hearted” and with confidence in the future, Maduro stressed that “Venezuela united in one voice will be respected in the years to come.” and projected an optimistic vision for the country.

«Venezuela will be a country that shines in the firmament of Latin America, of a Caribbean and of a humanity that seeks new paths, new horizons of peace, of cooperation. We will make ourselves respected. “We have made ourselves respected by raising our heads,” he highlighted.
