As part of the military cooperation between Russia and Venezuela, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, visited the Oceanic scientific ship «Admiral Vladimirsky”, of the Baltic fleet of the Baltic of the Federation of Russia, which arrived yesterday to the port of La Guaira, in order to continue strengthening the Brotherhood Ties between both nations.
“Venezuela and Russia are increasingly united in the struggle for a new world of peace and independence of the peoples.” Said the head of state.
The Head of State was received by the crew, with honors corresponding to his investiture, and during the tour of the ship, the Head of State signed the Book of Visitors, in which he wrote a dedication to President Vladimir Putin and the Russian people, about the 80th year of Victory Day, of the Great Patria War against Nazism, which will be commemorated on May 9.
The Venezuelan president reaffirmed, before the delegation, that the seas of Venezuela are open to cooperation, for the construction of a new world with Russia.
Maduro received a book from the head of the Russian crew, contentive in the history of the sister nation, as part of a present for the years of friendship and cooperation between the Federation of Russia and Venezuela.
As part of the thanks to this gift and the reception he had from the crew, the national dignitary recognized the visit of the Russian officers to the Venezuelan waters, because the work paths that have been carried out with the Russian military forces are reaffirmed.
This book was delivered by the head of the crew, who stressed that this gift is awarded to the “Compatriot President, because it has the entire history of this ship, since the opening of Antarctica was opened and everything they have done in the last 200 years.”
The president highlighted the special of this day, for being Palm Sunday, in addition to the National Day of the Bolivarian Militia of Venezuela, which is held this Sunday, 16 years after its creation.
Last Saturday, April 12, the Minister of Popular Power for Defense, GJ Vladimir Padrino López, announced about the arrival of the ship to the port of La Guaira, highlighting that this visit marks another important milestone in the relations of technical-military cooperation, between the two countries.
In context, in August 2024, a Russian school ship «Smolniy» arrived in Venezuela, as part of a work visit and a cultural exchange, knowledge and technology between the two countries.
