Maduro: Venezuela will never surrender to any empire

In the afternoon of this Saturday, the central act was held to commemorate the 202nd anniversary of the Battle of Carabobo and Bolivarian Army Day.

The official activity was headed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who upon arrival at Campo Carabobo was notified of the communication equipment that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces has.

“Today, in the Campo de Carabobo, we are proud to be patriots of the 21st century and to continue with the Bolívar Flag, with the Bolívar cause, defending the sovereignty of our Homeland and the freedom of our people,” said the Head of State.

“Here we are 202 years later with the same spirit, with the same love for our Homeland and telling the empires of the world: Venezuela will not surrender to the empires, Venezuela is heading towards the century of power”, highlighted the President.

The President congratulated all the men and women of the Bolivarian Army on his day.

In this sense, he stated “today could not be a better day, a day of battle, of national victory, of South American victory, to celebrate the day of our men and women of our glorious Bolivarian Army, and the new missions and tasks that we will continue fulfilling to defend our constitution and to continue victorious against the snares of the empire”.

The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez; Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López; the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab; the governor of the state of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava and vice presidents of the Bolivarian Government.
