The President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro urged the people and governments free of the world, to continue pressure so that the “old colonial interests” stop supporting the genocide that Israel is committing against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
In his television program with Maduro +, the president reflected on the complex global scenario, in dispute between an emerging new world and an old and worn model that refuses to recognize the changes of humanity, including the right of the Palestinian people to exist.
“We are in a difficult time, of transit, between a humanity that wants to take its own path, which is the multipolar world … which is in intense struggle with the interests of the old Western interests, which refuse to give supremacy,” he said.
In this regard, he repudiated the shares of human rights by the Zionist State of Israel, which he said is a “religious and criminal supremacist state”, which promotes the extermination of the Palestinian people.
“The Jewish people are called to stop the genocide, although its religious leaders call to hunger the children,” he said in reference to a Zionist religious representative who urged the genocide of the entire population of Gaza
He added that “they (the Zionists) are the spearhead of a new process of world hegemony, and behind that are the Western powers.”
Peoples in mobilization
The president referred to the recent mobilization registered in Australia, in which more than 100,000 people marched in support of the Palestinian people. The president compared this type of towns, with the movement that repudiated the US war against Vietnam.
“The solidarity movement that rose with Vietnam broke all the schemes. Humanity rose next to Vietnam,” said the head of state when comparing the two movements.
“Today the conditions are different, you have to defend a village massacred for 76 years … that awareness that is being raised in several countries around the world, are taking place every day, but there is a great capacity to hide them in the media,” he said.
He added that the governments of the world have great responsibility in fighting to stop this genocide, especially the governments of the southern peoples and those of the Muslim world.
“We must force the governments of Europe to give an account to support the Palestinian people,” he added.
