“Venezuela has a powerful social communication movement that has an impact and achieves a living democracy. Today we have a cultured and informed people of great human quality thanks to the journalistic movements that have told the truth about Venezuela », he said.

During the event from Ayacuho Hallthe head of state, assured that it is necessary to guarantee communication in the country, “to achieve this, a movement with great interpretation is necessary, a movement of public opinion, very powerful and informed so that the people have clear and firm opinions so that they do not be manipulated,” he said.

He also reported that this is the first time in Venezuela that the National Journalism Award is given to traditional media based on the production of content on social networks,” he said.

The head of state made some announcements during the meeting with Venezuelan journalists. One of them was the update of the cases of covid-19 in the country.
