Maduro to Edmundo González: What is his intention by disrespecting the TSJ and the CNE?

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his appearance before the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), publicly criticized candidate Edmundo González for his absence at the summons of the country’s highest court.

“We have been summoned by the courts, the 10 candidates, 9 of us have attended. The candidate of fascism, González Urrutia, was absent again. Mr. González Urrutia, if you do not respect the National Electoral Council or the Supreme Court of Justice, what are you trying to do?” said President Maduro, emphasizing that this is an act “of the highest legal, constitutional and judicial level.”

“I was officially informed at 10:00 AM that the ten (10) candidates were confirmed, and then a call was received from a lawyer
English: attorney, who said what, there was no consensus on the part of the Unitary Platform to attend, González Urrutia, there is a concept that lawyers handle, this judicial summons is intuito persona, it is you. It is as if I were looking for justification that the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP), is not yet in agreement, not the GPP, it is Nicolás Maduro Moros, CI.V: xxx who was summoned by the highest court of the Republic, if you did not respect the CNE to sign an agreement to recognize the results, if you do not respect the TSJ, then what are the next steps, to assault power again? Let us open our eyes people of Venezuela”, requested the national leader.

After signing the minutes of the Electoral Chamber Hearing corresponding to the contentious appeal he filed before the Supreme Court of Justice, Maduro reiterated that he is in the “absolute” disposition of the Electoral Chamber and prepared to deliver the documents and “100 percent of the minutes,” he said.
