The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, asserted that the hijacking of the cargo plane Aerocargo del Sur Transport Company (Emtrasur), is an imperial maneuver directed by the FBI, whose main objective is to dispossess its assets to attack the Venezuelan people, said in an interview to the Breaking Molds program, broadcast by the Argentine radio station Radio10.
“It is a maneuver against Venezuela, like so many other maneuvers, to steal assets, accounts, money, gold abroad,” said the national president, while stating that the Venezuelan State is making a legal defense to recover the plane from its hijackers. and his crew who are in Argentina.
He reiterated that the plane and its crew have not committed any crime in Argentina “it is an incredible thing that a person enters a country and cannot leave without having committed any crime, there is no warrant.”
“We are making all legal efforts to recover the plane from its hijackers,” insisted the head of state.
Maduro hopes that justice will prevail in this case so that the crew of the aircraft regain their freedom and that the Venezuelans recover this asset, which belongs to the assets of the nation.
