“In times of media war, Venezuela is preparing to fight through transforming knowledge at the International University of Communications (UICOM). Let’s sharpen the artillery with a lot of criteria and political clarity to win the battle for the truth, “Maduro said through his account on the social network Twitter.

Through a micro published in his account on the social network, the Head of State emphasized that political thought must have coordination and organization “in the media, networks, streets, walls and homes and thus win the communication battle.”

The International University of Communications (UICOM) started on March 15 and its multimodal study plan includes three periods with a first cohort between March and June; July and September the second; and the third from September to December.

The rector of the institution, Tania Díaz, explained that UICOM has as its goal the emancipation of the peoples and serve as a mechanism for the unification of the struggles of the peoples of the world.
