Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro thanked his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Díaz-Canel, for his solidarity in the face of the new seizure of a Cuban asset by the United States Government.
This was stated on Monday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Yván Gil, on his Telegram channel, highlighting the “solidarity” of the President of Cuba “in the face of the constant criminal acts of the United States against our sovereignty, this time with the illegal seizure of an aircraft used by the National Executive.”
“Imperialism is increasingly revealing its fascism,” concluded the Venezuelan foreign minister.
He also thanked “the brother Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, for his firm condemnation of the latest act of piracy by the decadent US empire.”
“From Citgo to illegally seizing planes and imposing criminal sanctions, fascism knows no bounds,” Gil wrote on Telegram.
