Maduro thanked his Namibian counterpart for supporting the popular decision of June 28

He Republic PresidentNicolás Maduro thanked his Namibian counterpart, Nangolo Mbumba, for his support for the results of the elections held on July 28.

In this regard, through a message published on his X account, the Head of State assured that he will continue working for respect, sovereignty and peace in the country.

In a letter sent to Maduro, Mbumba expresses on behalf of the people of Namibia his congratulations on his re-election as president of Venezuela.

“The willingness of the people of Venezuela to extend His Excellency’s mandate for a third term is a clear demonstration of their confidence in his leadership,” the letter says.

He also highlighted his appreciation of the solid relationship and friendship with the Government of Venezuela and its people, as well as his willingness to continue working on bilateral cooperation between both nations for the benefit of their peoples, according to AVN.

It is important to remember that, this Wednesday, the Head of State requested to the Supreme Court of Justice summon all candidates, representatives of all parties, and compare all the evidence and certify, “through a high-level technical appraisal,” the results of July 28.

In this regard, he indicated that the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) will present to the public 100% of the electoral records that declared President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro the winner, with 51.2% of the votes in the elections of July 28.
