The president referred to the return to the Negotiation and Dialogue Table in Mexico. He said that his government has engaged in dialogue with all sectors of the country, but “especially with the political sector that depends on the United States.”
He indicated that it is an exaggeration of the international media to say that there is a return to negotiations when, he assured, there is a permanent dialogue in Venezuela.
Maduro said that they have been working in silence “among Venezuelan brothers” with the Unitary Platform.
He stressed that the negotiations continue “at a new level, a new point.” After the suspension that the government made of the dialogue, in October 2021, the Maduro administration has developed a State-to-State negotiation with the Joe Bien government.
At the same time, the ruler insisted that they are negotiating “with a sector of the extreme right of the opposition that has requested the military intervention of the United States. We believe in peace and democracy.”
He expressed that they have spoken with the Unitary Platform “to rescue the millions seized by the sanctions to invest them in the people of Venezuela.”
“Jorge Rodríguez is going to negotiate so that they respect the Constitution,” he emphasized.
Maduro said that despite the fact that the Unitary Platform represents a sector of the population that obtained fourth place in the 2021 regional elections (28%), they agreed to talk with its leadership and with the head of the delegation, Gerardo Blyde.
“This boy who is 60 years old is dedicated to speaking with all the oppositions in Venezuela,” he pointed out.
The president stressed that no one will impose anything on him. He thanked the efforts of the Kingdom of Norway and the government of the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, “for the diplomatic and prudent work they have done to resume dialogue.
For his part, Jorge Rodríguez, head of the government delegation, confirmed that Maduro’s representation has a new representative in Mexico during the meetings this weekend: “a new delegate joins the peace dialogue table, Camila Fabbri Saab, wife of Alex Saab».
He emphasized that Fabbri Saab “has stood out for the defense of human rights and the defense of the right of our diplomat to be free and to be a full delegate of the dialogue table.”

Larry Davoe and William Castillo. On this occasion, the governor of Miranda state, Héctor Rodríguez, and the vice minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, will not be present.
Rodríguez pointed out that Venezuela has sufficient resources that are blocked by more than 700 international sanctions. He assured that when they are released, they will be available for investment in the social services of Venezuelans.

Likewise, during the transmission of this Thursday, Maduro greeted the inauguration of the International Tourism Fair (FITV) that takes place from November 24 and ends on November 28 in the state of Anzoátegui. He invited to the fair where there will be 23 symposiums and 186 business roundtables to invest in tourist packages.
14 countries and nine diplomatic representations participate in FITV, while the guest country is Russia.
“Tourism is Venezuela’s secret weapon for the future, due to the country’s potential,” Maduro said.
Likewise, the president pointed out that Venezuela is a megadiverse, multi-destination country, with great cultural and natural wealth.
