During the act, broadcast on the national network, Maduro addressed the magistrate Gladys Gutierrezwho this week has been retreaded in the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), by the ruling National Assembly (AN), and like a few years ago, will preside over this instance.
“I want to congratulate you, Dr. Gladys Gutiérrez, and wish you republican success in the process of transforming Venezuelan justice from the powers that the Constitution gives you as an independent and republican power of the nation,” he said.

At the same time, Maduro described Gutiérrez, who was present at the event this Thursday, as “a woman of great value, great knowledge, a great legal vocation, great morality.”
Judge Gutiérrez Gutiérrez was responsible for the ruling of the TSJ that denied the review of the electoral results of the 2013 presidential election, denounced by the opposition candidate Henrique Capriles as fraudulent, and which Nicolás Maduro won by just 1.5% of the votes. votes.
In addition, he assured that the process carried out by the ruling AN to appoint 20 magistrates, and which took place a month late, “was exemplary, fulfilling all the mandates of the Constitution and the law.”
On the other hand, during the ceremony at the National Pantheon, the president stated that, on February 4, 1992, not only did the armed uprising led by former President Hugo Chávez begin, but also the construction of the history of the 21st century.
Regarding General-in-Chief Manuel Piar, Maduro said that he knew, in depth, the racism, exclusion and contempt of the ruling classes at that time.
“That led him to support the revolutionary independence movement that Gual and Spain started,” he asserted.
He said that the transfer of General in Chief Piar to the National Pantheon is an act of justice. The remains were brought to Caracas by the governor of Bolívar state, Ángel Marcano: “From a worker governor to a worker President,” the president said.
He also indicated that to vindicate, on behalf of Piar, some message to the new generations is the call for national union.
“Overcoming lies and manipulation, we promised to vindicate the figure of General in Chief Manuel Piar and here he is in the National Pantheon,” said the ruler.
Likewise, Maduro maintained that the National Constituent Assembly, which emerged as an idea in the San Félix field, brought peace, concord and dialogue harmony to Venezuelans, “in a miraculous, fortunate, accurate way.”
