Maduro says that approved budget aims at "social and communal investment"

This Thursday, Nicolás Maduro assured that his government’s commitment is to the well-being of the people


The ruler Nicolas Maduro This Thursday, December 5, he referred to the first year of the consultative referendum for the defense of Essequibo, which took place on December 3, 2023.

In this sense, he maintained that this referendum represented “a significant milestone” in the country’s history. During his podcast, “Maduro live suddenly,” the president said that the country has been characterized by electoral processes.

“In 27 years, we have held 7 referendums, which demonstrated the commitment of the Venezuelan people to democracy,” he said.

On the other hand, Maduro celebrated the sanction of the 2025 Budget Law by the National Assembly (AN) of 2020 this Thursday the 5th. «The Budget for the year 2025 is the Law of the Nation. It is already a fact, the country has, as it should be, its budget totally oriented towards social and communal investment,” he indicated.

He assured that his government’s commitment is to the well-being of the people.

He ratified that in the Community Portfolio Fund there is a goal: 600 million dollars for projects in the communities.

Likewise, the president said that for a new society to exist, “a new State” must be built. In this way, Maduro also asserted: “We are committed to taking every necessary step to accelerate this change, and only we have the plan to achieve it: “The 7T Plan!”
