Maduro says he is “ready to present 100% of the electoral records”

AREQUIPA, Peru – Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro He said this Wednesday at the headquarters of the Supreme Court of Justice, which was “ready to present 100% of the minutes” of the elections held last Sunday.

Santos, who accompanied Álvaro Uribe in his first presidency, said that the plan aims to print all the new records and present them to international observers before Friday, August 2. “They are dressed in grey underwear, without pockets and they have no cell phones,” he said.

The publication also notes that the Chinese arrived from the Cuban situation room in the early hours of Tuesday, aboard a Conviasa flight.

“They are supervised by Carlos Quintero, Principal Rector of the CNE, together with the director of technology of the same organization,” added Santos. So far, the CNE has not responded to the accusations.

The post-electoral crisis in Venezuela

Meanwhile, the situation in Venezuela remains tense and at least 13 people have died as of Tuesday during popular protests against electoral fraud. The demonstrations, which have spread to several cities in the country and have been repressed by the Chavista armed forces, have also left dozens injured and arrested.
