He ruler Nicolás Maduro assured that his administration has a plan drawn up to ensure that all energy production generates money to be invested in salaries and the improvement of the health and service system. The president promised that “the time will come to take decisive steps in salary.”
The statement was made on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 3, in Morichal, Monagas state, during the act of delivery of the Cacique Chaima clump to the Social Benefits Fund of the country’s workers, in which Vice President Delcy Rodríguez participated. and the Minister of Oil and President of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) Pedro Tellechea.

Although Maduro did not give details about his plan, he did say that it includes linking direct oil production through the clumps to social benefits.
“We are in the midst of a comprehensive recovery effort. Nobody can be confused. Cacique Chaima clump recovered in an exemplary manner, from 50 wells. I deliver this complete bunch. Its productive potential will increase the monthly income of the clump. I give it to you in full so that everything it generates goes to the social benefits fund for workers in Venezuela in an account in the BCV to benefit the workers.
