President Nicolás Maduro categorically rejected the sanctions imposed against the Venezuelan airline Conviasa, by the United States and some of the countries that accompany it in this policy against the Venezuelan people.
In his Con Maduro + program, the head of state said that the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Venezuelan airline will only serve to make it grow much more.
Maduro made the reflection in the middle of his dissertation on the resumption of Conviasa flights to Barbados, after the visit of the prime minister of that sister nation, Mia Mottley, who told him that she remembered when both countries were connected by the Viasa airline .
“Viasa was dismembered by the neoliberals of the fourth republic. It was our flag airline,” recalled the national president.
Regarding the sanctions against Conviasa, Maduro wondered why they are attacking an airline that “what it does is transport passengers.”
“I met with Conviasa workers and we are doing a miracle. We are going to continue strengthening Conviasa (…) and we will continue connecting as a region of peace”, he assured.
“Our relations with the world are advancing,” the president concluded.
