Within the framework of the celebration of the 19th anniversary of the founding of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CeoFan), the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the people to remain alert to fascist and imperialist plans that could threaten the stability of the country.
Likewise, he stressed that thanks to the intelligence work of the State security agencies, and of the people themselves, it has been possible to capture the terrorists and mercenaries who attacked and tried to end the service of the national electrical system, as well as the system of the National Electoral Council, as part of its plans to start chaos and a civil war in the country.
He argued that proof of this is that the opposition during the last electoral process did not campaign nor had a candidate because their plans were violent. He also condemned the fact that popular leaders and their families were threatened through WhatsApp.
In that sense, he recalled the actions of the commanders who attacked, burned and destroyed public services such as hospitals, Metro stations and comprehensive care centers (CDI), in addition to being allegedly related to the death of more than twenty Venezuelans during the attacks on July 28 and 29, the planning of which linked them to the opposition “Maria Fascista Machado.”
He highlighted that thanks to data provided by Venezuelan citizens residing outside the country, it was possible to obtain information about alleged terrorists who entered the country to destabilize and threaten the peace of the country.
Likewise, he highlighted the importance of the civil-military union that has been key, in his opinion, in the victory against the hybrid and psychological war that fascism and North American imperialism have maintained against the people.
Finally, he praised Commander Hugo Chávez’s idea of creating the Strategic Operational Command and the Comprehensive Defense Zones, since they have been crucial in the defense of freedom, territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
