Maduro reiterates call for world peace and stability

The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated this Wednesday the call for stability and world peace, highlighting the importance of awakening conscience to prevent a nuclear war.

“I was one of those who announced that Ukraine was going to have nuclear weapons aimed at Russia. There is a real danger that a nuclear war will start in the world. Venezuela makes a call to awaken the world conscience,” said the president.

Similarly, he warned that “the world war has started and it is economic,” and argued that the objective is to cause uncertainty in the supply of raw materials, food, energy products, and prices to suffocate countries and regions.

“Our warning is that the war does not escalate further and it will lead to a military war. What is worse, that it reaches a nuclear level,” said the president.

In addition, he asked for the support of the Venezuelan people in the steps to follow in order to guarantee peace for that nation, the region and the world.
Economic goals for 2022

On the other hand, attending to the agenda regarding the productive day, the Venezuelan president urged to increase the production of oil and its derivatives, petrochemicals and gas in this 2022.

“Venezuela only has one path: prosperity, greatness, based on self-effort, discipline and workers’ power,” he said.

Likewise, he stressed that trust in the Venezuelan people must be maintained, since one must be “in the good times and in the bad, always with the people, with humble people, with ordinary people.”
