The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, receives this Tuesday members of the Civic Forum, where human rights organizations, academics, religious groups, businessmen and unions converge.
From the Simón Bolívar Room, in the Miraflores Palace, Caracas, the first combatant Cilia Flores makes an appearance, Mauro Zambrano, a member of Monitor Salud; William Requejo, from Unión Vecinal, Enrique López Loyo, from the National Academy of Medicine; and Ricardo Cusanno, former president of Fedecamaras.
Also attending is the member of the Dale Letra Citizen Movement, Mariela Ramírez; the president of Acción Solidaria, Feliciano Reyna; the member of the Venezuelan Electoral Observatory, Luis Lander; the leader of the Grassroots Union Movement (Mosbase), Pablo Zambrano; the director of Voto Joven, Wanda Cedeño, as well as the academic Juan Luis Sosa and the university professor Keta Stephany.
The meeting is part of the national dialogue agenda, under the premises of understanding and respect for differences, with political, social, economic, religious and cultural sectors.
Democratic Alliance
After the meeting with the Civic Forum, the national president met with representatives of the Democratic Alliance to expand the dialogue.
The meeting was attended by the secretary general of Democratic Action (AD), Bernabé Gutiérrez, as well as deputies Timoteo Zambrano, Luis Parra, Luis Romero, Juan Carlos Álvarado, José Brito and Alfonso Campos.
On March 7, the head of state announced the reactivation of the national dialogue with all sectors of the country.
