The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received on Tuesday the credentials of the new ambassadors of Ghana, Abena Pokua; from Botswana, Tebogo Teko Lily; from Angola, Florêncio Mariano Da Conceição; from Nicaragua, Orlando José Gómez Zamora, and from Mauritania, Abdoulaye Wagne.
The diplomats were received at the Miraflores Palace, seat of the Government, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Faría, and subsequently delivered the letters to the Head of State, with whom they held brief individual meetings in the Sol del Perú room, according to the Venezuelan state television channel (VTV).
In this way, diplomats begin their work in the country and will work on mutual alliances.
“The Bolivarian Government has planned to follow these alliances in terms of respect, brotherhood and mutual benefit,” recalled the state channel.

This Monday, the foreign minister received the style copies of this group of diplomats accredited to Caracas.
Faría, according to a statement, received the representatives of these four African countries and one Central American, accompanied by the deputy ministers for Africa, Yuri Pimentel, and Latin America, Rander Peña.
The foreign minister affirmed that Venezuela’s intention is to strengthen the “ties of brotherhood” with these countries and move towards a new stage of “growth, cooperation and transformation.”
Orlando Gómez again representative in Venezuela
On May 20, the regime notified that Gómez Zamora had been removed from his position as Nicaraguan ambassador to Venezuela to become the representative of his ally China.
Gómez held his position in Venezuela for only two months, but has been characterized as a defender of Daniel Ortega, which has earned him various diplomatic positions in recent years.
However, on July 28, the Ortega regime appointed Gómez Zamora as Minister Counselor with consular functions at the Venezuelan Embassy, dismissing María Isabel Martínez Chavarría, who held the position of ambassador to the administration of Nicolás Maduro for more than two months. .
