On the night of this Friday, November 8, President Nicolás Maduro assured that he would closely follow the process of reforming the electoral laws that is being carried out in the National Assembly and maintained that, in his opinion, the elections of mayors, governors and parliamentarians , which are planned for 2025, should be carried out separately.

During his statements, Maduro affirmed that in the electoral reform process “all political sectors are participating; Bolivarianism, Chavismo, the patriotic forces, as well as the opposition forces, the different oppositions are participating, the social, intellectual, university sectors, assemblies throughout the country” and that “it is an open-door debate.”
