President Nicolás Maduro urged “having a community coffee” and instructed to reactivate the community sancochos as a mechanism to make known the more than 52,000 candidates to be elected this December 15 as judges of the peace.
“On Saturdays and Sundays I want to see the community sancochos. They must be resumed so that all the candidates who were not placed by any political party can go. What worked here was awareness, values (…) this is how people responded to the legal and institutional call of a country that wants to advance in its transformation, because we are on the path of a new society,” he stated.
Maduro highlighted that the key to the election of justices of the peace is a campaign that shows ordinary men and women, “who are going to be judges of the community, to continue building a new civilization, a new society and a new State, that has its feet, head and hands in the territory.”
Likewise, the Venezuelan President reflected that the air State must end, one that is based on the leadership of “manipulation, demagoguery and deception; as well as in some countries, which happens every 4 years when electing governors, mayors”, under a policy of promising a “false commitment”, without even knowing the true demands of the People’s Power.
Along these lines, the Dignitary valued that the participation of the “organized community” is important, especially the families of the community in this historic election, which responds to “the high values, the awareness on the part of the empowerment of the people.” , to continue “transforming, just as the revolution does”, with the aim of building a new society.
“A true revolution must have a permanent character, because it is about building a new society (…), it is built with new human beings and from the deep territory we will achieve the miracle of the construction of a New State,” concluded the Head of State.
He assured that he was committed to guaranteeing major changes, which is why he presented the Plan of the Seven Transformations (7T). “A great transformation in all dimensions of Venezuelan society. I put all my faith on the territory and we will achieve the miracle of a new State; “We take all the steps to make it happen.”
In this sense, the head of Government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, explained that with these steps the progress of the transformation of the new Venezuela is consolidated.
“It is an extraordinary transformation and that will happen in 2025, in view of what the 7Ts are. The budget scope was changed; It is a transformation of the State in politics, culture, social matters, education and, above all, an important economic transformation.”
