Maduro points out the importance of climate education in new generations

During his visit to the 18th edition of the Venezuelan Book Fair (Filven), at the National Art Gallery in Caracas, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the importance of education so that the new generations confront the challenges facing humanity due to climate change, made his comments regarding a meeting with an eleven-year-old Indian girl who approached him during his most recent visit to Egypt, in which he participated in the 27th Conference of the Parties to the Convention United Nations Framework on Climate Change (COP27).

Maduro urged the Minister of Education, Yelitze Santaella, to promote the ecological issue and sustainability in the curricula of schools and high schools in Venezuela.
