The night of this December 26, during the “Maduro Live de Repente” program, President Nicolás Maduro asked to request the extradition of the president of the National Assembly (AN) 2015, Dinorah Figuera; He also offered details of the events that will take place around January 10; and ordered the completion of the Warairarepano-Macuto Cable Car System
The ruler Nicolás Maduro reported on the night of this Thursday, December 26, that they will request the extradition of the president of the National Assembly (AN) 2015, Dinorah Figuera; who is currently exiled in Spain.
“There are some thieves out there who say that the National Assembly that was elected in 2015 is still in force (…) That supposed National Assembly of (Juan) Guaidó, which is now presided over by a certain Dinorah Figuera – who lives in Spain – increased their salary “They receive 10 thousand dollars a month each,” he said during the program “Maduro Live de Repente”; and asked the Minister of Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodríguez, to “review” whether the Venezuelan justice system requested Spain “extradite” Dinorah Figuera.
“We ask for the extradition, to alert justice, of this lady Dinorah Figuera, who is stealing Citgo, the gold from London to Venezuela, the accounts for more than 20 billion to Venezuela,” he assured.

On December 23, the National Assembly (AN) 2015, chaired by Dinorah Figuera, extended the continuity of that body until 2025; after holding a “secret session” on December 14, 2024. Hours after the decision of the AN 2015 was known, the president of the National Assembly (AN) 2020, Jorge Rodriguezasked to apply the Simón Bolívar Law against Dinorah Figuera, Marielena Fernández and Auristela Vásquez, who are at the head of the AN 2015.
Prior to 10E
The president also referred to the January 10 inauguration, announcing that from January 2 to February 4 “the popular power, the Patriotic Pole and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) will advance a set of “special, impressive mobilizations throughout the entire country.”
«On January 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, the people will take to the streets to take the oath. In Caracas alone they are considering filling 10 avenues. “10 times 10,” he promised; and announced that he is preparing a constitutional reform together “with national and international experts.”
🔴 Maduro reported that the PSUV is planning to fill ten avenues in Caracas on January 10 to accompany him in his swearing-in before the AN.

He recalled that in 2025 there will be “three elections”: those for governorships and legislative councils; that of mayors and municipal councils; and the parliamentarians. In addition to “six consultations” with Venezuelans: one every quarter for community projects; one for youth projects; and that of projects for culture.
Throughout the program, which lasted more than hours, the president recalled – on several occasions – the “tranquility” and “happiness” that – in his opinion – prevailed in the country in 2024 and that he hopes will continue: “We have to defend the right to peace, stability, tranquility. Let no one make a mistake about Venezuela, neither insiders nor outsiders. Look how happy this year 2024 is going,” he noted.
«Consumption growth»
The Vice President of the Republic and Minister of Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodríguez, who attended the “El Café” section of the program, offered consumption figures in the country in recent days: “E-commerce increased by 97%,” she celebrated.
«Last year between December 20 and 26, 190 million electronic transactions were made, plus 232 million. Only on December 23 and 24, 60 million transactions were recorded (…) Activity in shopping centers increased by 81%; 35% in supermarkets (…) Electronic commerce increased by 97%,” indicated the official.
“A lot of money is circulating in the country and people are involved in commerce,” said the president; who invited, once again, to invest in Venezuela, on this occasion especially in Venezuelan coffee; and recommended to countries that have investments in the country – especially European ones – “calmly, with good profits, too,” he noted, to “not invent.”
“European countries don’t start inventing, I know what I’m telling you,” he suggested.
Warairarepano-Macuto Cable Car
Maduro also gave instructions to complete the Warairarepano-Macuto Cable Car System that connects the central coastline with Caracas, and instructed the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, to communicate with the governor of the state of La Guaira (formerly Vargas), José Alejandro. Terán, and the mayor of the Vargas municipality, José Manuel Suárez Maldonado, who will be accompanying her in this work.
