Maduro ordered a pilot plan to “industrialize popular sectors”

The Venezuelan ruler Nicholas Maduroordered this Wednesday afternoon to implement a pilot plan for the “industrialization of the popular sectors” of the country “as a method of productive development.”

For the development of said plan, Maduro appointed the Minister of Petroleum and Sector Vice President of Economy, Tareck El Aissami, who will have the mission of “articulating with the ministries” involved.

“Approved, let the vice president of economy, Tareck El Aissami, come and make this Pilot Plan for the Industrialization of the Neighborhoods for productive development; move from resistance to emancipation,” he expressed.

Along the same lines, the president asked to accelerate the transfer of assets, warehouses and furniture to the Communal Councils and the People’s Power.

“Loyal Minister Tellería, it is an order that I give you, the transfer of economic power so that they (People’s Power) create popular distribution systems, their popular supplies, in a new stage,” he said.

He also asked to support these organizations with logistics, supplies and financing. “There is the Bicentennial Bank, which has to be, as it has been defined, the Bicentennial Bank of the Communes, to finance the projects,” he pointed out.

On the other hand, the national government reported the arrival in Venezuela of two white lions, some lynxes, elephants and giraffes, which will be exhibited in the Caricuao zoo, after passing the quarantine period to which they will be subjected.
