The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, appointed Ricardo Molina on Monday in Maduro+ Edition 71 as the new Minister for Ecosocialism, replacing Josué Lorca and Franklin Cardillo, for the sports portfolio; who will also replace Arnaldo Sánchez. “They are well prepared men,” said the president.
“To further strengthen the movements in defense of our ecosystems and advance mitigation plans against climate change that affects planet Earth”, through the sixth transformation, Maduro said in the designation of Molina, who will leave the National Assembly as Deputy, while assuring that the government “is in permanent renewal.”
Maduro instructed the new minister for ecosocialism, “to build the new movements in defense of our parks, rivers and lakes and thus lead the battle to mitigate climate change that is already a tragic reality” with periods of drought and warming of the sea that damages the species.
In this order, he said that “a scientific mitigation plan must already be created and convene the youth creating powers to take care of the climate.”
Regarding the appointment of Cardillo, he asked him to assume the entire “Olympic and beyond” quality for athletes and coaches ”.
“Ecosocialism must be seen transversally, which allows us to continue generating wealth, but with a deep respect for nature and in the communes there are already spokesmen that will contribute a lot in the construction of the plan that allows us to ensure the protection of the basins , of the quality of the water, maintenance and expansion of our forests ”, in the correct management of the Mother-to-being human issue, said Ricardo Molina.
Meanwhile, Franklin Cardillo, stressed that, in this new stage, national sports massification will be promoted, from schools, high schools and universities, until reaching all communities in the national territory, through sport as a vital election for health.
Finally, Cardillo assumed the call in all “permanent training” to improve the results in competitions and provide “comprehensive support to athletes and coaches for Venezuela power in sports.”
