The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed this Thursday the participation of parliamentarian Jorge Rodríguez in the Forum on Peace, which will take place between November 11 and 13 in Paris, France, reported AVN.
«Jorge Rodríguez must be arriving in Paris. He is going to Paris with a meeting with (the president of France) Emmanuel Macron, to talk about peace », expressed the Venezuelan head of state during the inauguration of the 18th Book Fair in Venezuela (Filven).
In this new meeting – which was promoted by Macron in 2018 – the focus will be on the situation in South America.
In the forum, the presidents will participate from Colombia; Gustav Petro; from Argentina, Alberto Fernandez; and a speech by the newly elected president of Brazil, Lula Da Silva, is expected, international media report.
The fifth edition of the Forum will be held under the slogan “Overcome the multi-crisis”.
Recently, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, had a meeting with the French president, within the framework of the 27th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP27), which was held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
In this meeting, Macron expressed his desire to talk extensively with the Venezuelan president.
