The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, proposed to the participants in the International Seminar of the Labor Party (PT) of Mexico to join forces to build an agenda of global struggle from the Anti-Fascist International, proposed by the national leader at the recent world congress. against fascism carried out in Caracas.
The head of state greeted, through a telephone contact, the plenary session of the seminar, where the vice minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, also participated.
Maduro thanked the strong support for the Venezuelan people and the Bolivarian Revolution, he also recognized and congratulated the effort that the PT of Mexico has made year after year to bring together and articulate the leftist parties and movements of the world.
In addition, he invited “to join efforts from the Anti-Fascist International as a space for the articulation of anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, anti-colonial, anti-patriarchal and anti-racist struggles to build an agenda of global struggle,” reports a Telegram publication by Vice Minister Peña.
The event, held in Mexico City, will last until September 28 and addresses essential topics such as the challenges and opportunities for leftist movements in the current global context. It also has the presence of 133 parties and organizations, as well as 271 International delegates and more than 400 national delegates from 47 countries on four continents.
